The Application Of Intelligent Context-Aware Systems To The Detection Of Online Student Cheating

This presentation looked at three different types of student cheating and the types of intelligent context-aware systems that could be used to detect them.

Of interest to visitors to this site, one of the cheating behaviours considered was contract cheating.

The presentation took place at the ICAS 2013, workshop. The slides, hosted on SlideShare account for Thomas Lancaster, are included here.

Commercial Aspects Of Contract Cheating

This is our investigation into the economic factors behind contract cheating. A lot of money changes hands, regardless of whether this is to the people writing assignments for students, or the sites taking a commission on sales.

The talk also looked at the different roles of the people involved with contract cheating, some of which are surprising.

The presentation took place at ITiCSE 2013, which was held at the University of Kent in Canterbury. The slides, hosted on SlideShare account for Thomas Lancaster, are included here.
